I have SO MUCH to share but I just don't feel like I have enough time, I hate when that happens, don't you? My trip to Chicago was amazing and I have a ton of pictures to share but those will have to come later because I need to get ready for work. I also have BIG BIG news to share but I'll leave you wondering what it is ;) So take a guess, I'll tell you later tonight....

So, I'm going to Chicago tomorrow!! I am SO excited, I've never been. Of course I still haven't packed, still have laundry to do, and still need to get things from the store, but that's okay. I plan on waking up fairly early (7ish), finishing my laundry/packing, shower, go to the store, get a mani/pedi with my mom, drop Sophie off at my friends who is pug-sitting, and head to the airport. Ummm, now that I'm writing it all out, it kinda seems like a lot. Whatever, I think I'll manage! But feel free to send me warm fuzzies for my flight tomorrow. I don't think there's anything I'm more afraid of than flying. My mom gave me EIGHT drink coupons to use though so hopefully I will be a happy little passenger!

I just used my Bliss triple oxygen facial mask, the clairisonic w/ my md forte cleanser, and vivite moisturizer and my skin feels like heaven. This is BY FAR my favorite Bliss product and if you haven't tried it, I think you definitely should! Here is a link to it on the Bliss website.

So you know how my mom was being tested for skin cancer? Well it turns out, I have a very early stage of it. I pretty much already knew it, but I just got back from the dermatologist who confirmed it. About two months ago, I noticed a suspicious spot on my face and ever since it has been changing in ways consistant with an early skin cancer diagnosis. I'm not overly stressed about it, I mean really, there's not much I can do about it. I had the spot frozen off and if it doesn't come back in six weeks, the doctor thinks that will be the end of it. If it does come back, we will have to take a more aggressive approach- he already mentioned doing a topical chemotherapy. Moral of the story- wear sunscreen and be good to your skin. I went many, many, many years not wearing sunscreen and burning myself to a crisp. It was stupid. Now I'm much more careful but obviously a little late on the caring for my skin thing since this still happened. It is what it is.

I just called my dad and told him. He's taking me out for lunch at a nice restaurant near where I live and then he said he'd take me to costco to buy me some things :) I don't know what he has in mind but I'm pretty excited to go and spend some time with him.
